Hello; We will be traveling from Interlaken to Paris in August and wonder if anyone can suggest a scenic route. We are traveling as a family with a 9 and 11 yo. Thanks!

One option is to take the Golden Pass scenic train from Interlaken to Montreux. The youths can sit in the VIP seats on top of the engine on the train from Zweisseman to Montreux (you will change trains). From Montreux, you change trains and go to Geneva where you pick up the TGV to Paris. 3.5hrs from Interlaken Ost to Montreux and about 4.0hrs from Montreux to Paris via Geneva. BTW, you don't indicate where else you will be traveling in Switzerland but if it's worth purchasing a Swiss pass or card in advance, you can request a free family card which permits your two children to travel FREE.
