One of the good things to come out of the pandemic is no more change fees by the airlines. So today, I checked on some flights we have booked in December, that I booked a couple months ago on Alaska airlines. When I booked them, I thought they were crazy expensive, but didn’t want to wait because they were over the holidays. Today, they were priced $500 less, so yes, I spent about an hour re-booking 4 tickets. Money is a credit we can use on future flight. Made my day!
Gotta love a good deal!
I have a bunch of Southwest flights coming up, which the airline keeps changing. During the process of confirming each change, I noticed that the new flights were cheaper than the original ones. Since they're all booked with points, I just rebooked them. With so many flights it saved me about 25,000 points - enough for 2 or 3 round trips!
That is the way it should always be. Good for you!
Now THAT is a way to make some money! Congrats to you both.
You were lucky! Just rechecked my Alaska flights over the holidays and they are still the same ridiculous price.
