Am thinking about doing the My Way Alpine Tour
I live in Southwest VA - what is the best/easiest/cheapest way to get from Tri Cities Airport (TRI) to Salzburg and to get back to TRI from Geneva Switzerland? I use Delta when I can.

I'd run dates through Kayak or Skyscanner, see what is the best/cheapest and then book directly with the site that you choose. When I search, I usually do +/- 3 days and browse using "in-private" settings. At least delete cookies.
For Salzburg, it is probably easiest to fly into Munich and then take the train. Otherwise you are looking at three flight/two changes to get from your airport to Salzburg (yuck).
To Salzburg, it's easiest to fly to Munich and take the train over to Salzburg.
Your best airfare on a Tuesday in May would be about $1,300 on Delta flying through Atlanta and making connections through Paris going over and returning through Amsterdam.
You'd be on the ground a short time, however when you make connections.
If you can get to Charlotte, Lufthansa flies direct from there to Munich. Lovely aircraft and flight experience.
