Can anyone recommend the easiest way to get from Salema to Sevilla and how long does it take?

I do not know the very local transport from Salema. Make your way to Lagos and this explains the rest - http://www.algarvebus.info/001.htm

Sammy, We drove from Salema to Granada using a rental car. The trip went directly through Sevilla. The roads were excellent and it was nice to see the countryside. Don't think the trip would be more than about 3 hours from Salema. Dave

Dave, thank you for the great idea. What did it cost you to rent a car? I think I'd like to do it and take my time driving throughout the countryside. I'd only want to rent it for the day - do you know if that is possible?

You'll pay through the nose if you rent in Portugal and want to drop the car off in Spain. Be sure to ask about the drop-off fee - and be prepared for a shock.
