Safety around the Termini train station in Rome

My hotel is just north of the station. Is the area safe at night, including the Metro station? Thanks

Lots of threads on this topic, just use the search box in the upper right and type in "termini safe".

Short answer, you'll be fine. Some people feel that the area east of Termini is a bit seedy, but most have no problem.
