I'm cautiously considering my first flight on Ryanair (Athens to Rome). I understand they are notoriously diligent about applying the limits to cabin bags. The stated size limit is 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and limited to 10 kg. The also seem to limit cabin bags after the first 90 passengers. So..if I buy a Priority boarding option and keep within the weight limit, should I expect to be able to carry my bag which is 39 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm? (so...smaller than limit on two dimensions for length and width but slightly over on height) or should I just plan to check my bag?
