I am trying to read in detail my flight confirmation for Ryan Air and it states that for Hand Bag Luggage each person is allowed one. Now does that mean I cannot carry on a personal item such as a backpack, OR purse, OR camera bag? I hope not!! yikes....
One means one. When I flew with Ryanair in May they were being very strict about that. The only way around it was to check a bag (for a fee, but the fee is half if you book your tickets online).
Nancy,
I booked online a while ago but chose the the option of not checking in a bag. Do you know if it would it be to late to change that option online so I can pay the half price rather than paying the full price at the airport?
Thanks!
Charito, as the first Post stated, the ONE BAG limit is stricty enforced. This is often the case with other airlines in the U.K., as well as Ryan Air.
If you plan on flying in the U.K., you might want to have a small Daypack that has enough capacity to store other small bags that you normally carry (keeping in mind the size and weight limits also).
Good luck!
The ONE bag limit is currently the rule throughout the UK. All airlines have to comply. BTW, it's causing horrendous backlogs at Heathrow because the baggage handling system is now way overloaded.
