I agree, Jo, but at least now he/she has a chance to pull it off without the use of supernatural high speed travel skills.

An RV for many of the locations you listed for Germany is not practical. The RV will likely not have the necessary green emissions sticker that allows you to drive into the city. You will need to park well outside cities in RV parks and negotiate transportation from there. Many RV parks are far from public transportation. Even if the vehicle had the green sticker, you will not find anyplace to park it in urban areas.

To be honest, it is a few too many places. I count 17 different stops for you to do in 21 days, and I didn't count the day you arrive or leave. Have you already looked up the amount of time it takes to drive between all of your destinations to see how that fits with your plan? Have you already checked with the rental company about visiting some of the countries on your list and are they ok about it. I am thinking Budapest and Prague aren't popular with the rental firms. You do have a lot of places where an RV is going to be difficult, both with parking and driving. Fuel is pretty expensive over here and an RV uses a lot. Don't know what it is in other countries, but it is running about $9 a gallon here in Germany. Looks like you have a lot more planning to do. You also haven't said why you have picked those locations and what is interesting for you, so it is hard for anyone to tell you what to see and do.

Hi Tom, Thank you! I didn't know anything about Environmental Badge. I will check with RV company. I did rent smallest RV 5.99 m | 19.34 ft X 2.15m|6.94ft X 2.62m|8.46ft Diesel Gas I thought I could park anywhere. I was going to just get to each city and park RV and sightseeing, then find spot to park and sleep somewhere out side of City. Hi Jo,
Thank you for your respond. That's what I thought. Too many places. I have to cut it down. Witch city should I cut? Or maybe I should restart planning from scratch. RV Rental Company saids its ok to go those countries. I want to see Castle, Mountain, Lake, City & Drink some beer, BBQ and party! I rent RV so I could save money instead of Booking Hotel and renting a car.

" I thought I could park anywhere " You better do some more research. I would skip all of Italy for the type ( and time restraints ) of trip that you envision.

Oct/4   Frankfurt wurzburg / Germany Rothenburg, Germany Stuttgart (Cannstadter Wasn – the similar Oktoberfest-thing) Munchen Castle Neuschwanstein  Salzburg, Austria Graz Austria Vienna Austria Budapest Hungary Praha Saxon Switzerland Germany  Salzkammergut (Ferienregion wolfgangsee) Dresden Quedlinburg, Germany

Much more realistic, but please read up on the overnight parking regulations in each country. Have a great trip!

It is still 15 stops, only 2 less than the original. How many days are you allowing yourself to sightsee in Rome, Munich, Dresden, Salzburg, Venice, Vienna, Prague or Budapest? Even if you only spend 2 days in each of these 8 cities (and this is almost a sad amount of time, considering the amount of money you have just spent to come over here), it adds up to 16 days, leaving 1 day each for 4 more places, but you have 9 more places to go. You still haven't added in the amount of time it will take you to get from city to city.

The Salzkammergut region is nearer to Salzburg than Dresden. When I was a student in Salzburg, we did it as a day trip from town. You might want to check your map.

Hi Jo, I did take our Italy so Rome is out.
My airline mileage was going to expire 5000 miles every month from last Oct so I did use it for me & my girlfriend. She never been to Europe. She is so excited about it that's why I really need to plan this tour good. by the way, We are both Japanese. I've being to Europe many time with my musical group so I know how to get around but never rent RV. I have RV tour in US went to Arizona, Utah so I kind of have little idea what to expect but not in Europe.

OK, now you're down to 14 places (I think). You have 21 days, you'll spend a titch over 1 day at each place, but this doesn't count driving from place to place. Driving will probably take longer than you think. You will be paying around $6/gallon for gas, if not more. I would recommend Germany and Austria. Budapest and Prague are too far out, and quite frankly each of these places deserves more than 1-2 days. Definitely cut Italy! Unless you want to only drive, and see the not always so great scenery on the autobahns!

I want to see Castle, Mountain, Lake, City & Drink some beer, BBQ and party! Just a couple of points - I'm not sure it was completely clear in PP, but are you completely clear that you can't just park up on the side of the road, rest areas or car parks in Germany - you have to park in proper camping areas or RV parks. And related to your Drink some beer, BBQ and party! I hope you are aware of the extremely low drink driving permitted levels in Europe, especially in Germany. If you have a drink you'd better be parked up for the night.

Hi Niguel Thank you for reply. What do you meat by PP? I'm not going to drink and drive. I'm going to have fun when I'm in town or wherever I am after I park my RV.
As far as parking. Yes now I know that I need to park in RV park as all of you have mensioned. Here in US we can park pretty much anywhere. Under free way, residence area or just regular parking spot. I guess Europe is different so I do need to research about it. I think finding RV Parking is not a problem problem is getting to town from there. I can just call taxi to town that was my option. Another option for me is to park at my friends house in different town and have them take us to town. all these RV question I can ask RV community. Reason I wrote on this thread because I know you folks are professional traveler. I wanted advise where I could go in 3 weeks and have a life time memory that I can talk about it for years and years with my girl friend. Let me just start asking again. Witch place do you recommend if you have 3 weeks in Europe start driving from Frankfurt and returning to Frankfurt? Thats what I wanted to ask in first place anyway. I did my plan but I know folks have much better idea than me. I do appreciated any comment I can get cause I'm kind lost of this kind a thing. What want to say is thank you so much for reading me and writing back with you opinion. I truly appreciated.

"I think finding RV Parking is not a problem problem is getting to town from there. I can just call taxi to town that was my option. " I´m not sure about other countries, but in Germany, you can only park an RV at a campground. And as previously mentioned, RV parks are usually very isolated from public transportation. RVs are a great way to camp in Europe (the Dutch seem to be the champions at this), but they´re a lousy means to tour most of the continent.

perhaps there's room on the RV to carry a bicycle?

That's a great idea! I'll ask my friend to see if I can borrow Bicycle. Yeah!
