Hi -- any ideas on how to get to Orly with family of 5 (3 kids 16, 13, and 9) and in-laws? All of us have used Metro before. Any other ideas....shuttles, for example?
Your fastest route would be to take the Metro to Denfert-Rochereau, the RER B from there to Antony, and the Orlyval driverless shuttle train from there to the airport. The combined fare is €9.85.
A cheaper route would be to take the Metro to Denfert-Rochereau (€1.60 for a single Metro ticket) and the Orlybus from there to the airport. The fare for the Orlybus is €6.40.
With the in-laws there are seven of you, right? You could take a minivan taxi plus a standard taxi--or two standard taxis if you're packing light. According to the Aeroports de Paris site, a taxi would cost about €40 (plus a little more for more than three people and more luggage).
