Has anyone use the RomeCab Service to Transfer from FCO airport to hotel and back. I'm thinking of using them for my trip due to it's my first time in
Rome. I hear that Taxi are the worst .. they seem to take advantage of tourist. Please advise.. Thank you

They take advantage of the tourist who allows it. The taxi rate between the airport and core Rome hotels is fixed at 48E so they cannot take advantage of you. It is a convenient way to go if there are more than two of you. And the train at 14E is good also if you are by yourself.

I used the RomeCabs for my transfer from the airport to our apartment last month. They were there waiting for us with a sign....very comforting :) They were professional and our driver was extremely safe - not scarey. He didn't speak fluent English, but it was enough:) I would recommend them!

We have used them a number of times and have always been very pleased. They do cost 8 or 10 Euro more than the flat rate for a regular taxi, but they are well worth it. Highly recommend them. TC
