we r going on a cruise from rome in late july and are staying in the city for one night at each end of our cruise. we will need transportation from the airport to our rome hotel (trevi hotel), hotel to port, port to hotel, and hotel to airport. we're a party of 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 11-16). i have been in contact with stefano's rome cabs, but they only have vans holding up to 8 people. anyone know of a reputable company w/ vans for 10? public transportation might be hard for us since we have 2 grandparents traveling in our group. thanks!!

What you need is a small bus with a party of that size plus luggage! Can you not divide the party in such a way that 2 small vans would suffice? Or is it necessary for you all to stay together during these many transfers?

Norma is correct. Remember the average vehicle in Europe is smaller than the average in the US. The Ford Cub wagon is not common here. Your other issue is the amount of luggage. I assume you have more than a carryon bag each. Goggle Civitavecchia to find a lot of links to shuttle services. For ten people the van will probably be cheap that public transport.
