Rome train chaos today

There is brief mention of this in another thread, but is is at the end of a long thread about October train strikes, so most will not see it.

Here is a good summary of what happened. Basically there was electrical failure in early morning today at an intersection of tracks between Tiburtina and Roma Termini. It affected trains travel between Rome and Napoli, Milano, Firenze, and other places.

Yes— and some were wondering if the train cancellations in and out of Roma Tiburtina and Termini were caused by a strike. In fact, the train schedule disruptions are due to technical issues on the train tracks and has nothing to do with industrial actions.
