Does anyone have details from Termini in Rome to Sorrento? Like how to transfer in Naples and where the platforms are, how to avoid the slow train. Also is there easy train from Sorrento to Positano?
Thanks so much

You can take a nice high-speed Eurostar from Rome to Naples. But at Napoli Centrale, you will need to go down to the lower level to transfer to the private and slow Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. THEN, you catch the SITA bus at the Sorrento train station to Positano. There is no train from Sorrento to Positano. Count on 4.0+ hours to make this entire journey.
As an alternative, you can catch the ferry from Naples to Positano but you will have 3-4 stops on the ferry before getting there. I don't think that the jet boat makes this run.
