Hi I've been reading your blogs and they've been very helpful! Like other travelers, I'm apprehensive about booking trenitalia. Just a few days ago, I managed to find the schedules and cost of Rome-Milan-Arth-goldau. But today, it's all NA. What's wrong and is it a reliable purchase platform especially for the saver/mini round trip fares?
Trenitalia is a little quirky but the advance purchase fares are so good it is worth the effort. For Rome to Arth-Godlau, break it into two segment, Rome to Milan, and Milan to Arth-Goldau (look for a Smart Fare on that segment).
Hi Lola, thanks for your reply! Will try again on the booking.
Trenitalia will email you your e-ticket, you can print it out (or show it to the conductor on your smartphone or tablet; he/she will scan it).
