I am arriving in Naples from Rome. I will be traveling to Sorrento on public transportation. Can anyone tell me if there is a train or a bus to Sorrento and where might I pick that up. Hopefully at the station that I arrive in Naples at. thanks TK

One point to mention is that the Circumvesuviana is a commuter train and is a bit less "deluxe" than the typical trains from Rome to Naples. Don't be surprised by the appearance. One additional caveat - watch your luggage carefully!

Tina - After many years of Italian trvelling this Italian always prefers The Hydrofoil from Napoli to Sorrento. A fun ride and absolutely Beautiful when you arrive at Sorrento. There is a wonderful bus ride on The Sita bus from Sorrento to Positano BUt please, at least, consider a Hydrofoil .
