Roissy Bus

Can I buy tickets at the booth with a credit card? We are arriving in Terminal 1. BUT we have to find our daughter who is arriving in Terminal 2? Does Terminal 2 have a booth to buy the tickets? Are the tickets good on any trip(time) from CDG to Paris?

Terminal 2 is huge. Its probably best for you to go to Treminal 2 and meet your daughter first. Just take the connector shuttle bus. I assume you are arriving first. You need to know if it is Terminal 2 A,B,C,D,E,F, or G. You can wait for her at the baggage claim exit. One of you can run errands like pick up museum passes, RER tickets (see my reply on "to the west") or Roissy Bus tickets.

The best way to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 is to take the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train that connects all the terminals. At which branch of Terminal 2 will your daughter arrive? If you don't know, you can easily find out by going to the easy cdg site. The RoissyBus bus stops at Terminals 2A, 2C, 2E-2F, and 2D. Tickets will be good for any departure time.

To add to Tim's post, Here is the easycdg.com page for the RoissyBus; I've always bought tickets - With The Correct Change! - from the driver, and now that the tickets are 10€, that would be even easier. Note the photo of the bus on the easycdg site! There will be several types of buses driving around the airport. Personally, I always arrive in Europe with some Euro (saved from the last trip, usually) - this would be a really good excuse to have some before departure from the USA. Nice, crisp, 10€ bills...Try a Wells Fargo branch for rates about as good or better than anywhere else - and ask for the denominations that you want (10s, 20s, etc.). Here is the link to Aeroports de Paris - follow the links from Public Transport to RoissyBus, then go from there. (Be sure you're on the CDG page and not the Orly page) Don't forget to validate your ticket! From the brochure that I've included a link to above: "Tip: Plan your return trip and buy your ticket ahead of time
at any RATP ticket counter, ticket vending machine, or at the "Tourisme Information" desks inside airport." So, yes, you can buy your return tickets ahead of time; I'd suggest buying them from the places mentioned, and not trying to buy them from the bus driver unless your French is REALLY good! Besides, drivers can typically only sell tickets for THAT particular trip anyway. Enjoy the ride!
