River Levels

Doing a 14 day Amsterdam Budapest river cruise May 11-25 wondering if there is a website reporting river levels. Don't want to end up on a bus tour!!!!

I am sure there is somewhere but it won't make any difference. The boat will go regardless and they will still put you on the bus unless you cancel now.

For what it is worth the region had a late March record size snow storm. A few weeks ago in Budapest I noted the river was pretty high as compared to where my perception of where it generally is. How's that for double talk. I've seen it a lot lower and I have seen it somewhat higher and over the lower roads. I wouldn't worry. but at the very least you are bumped to the top where someone who knows what they are talking about might help.

Europe had above average precipitation this winter and spring. Don't worry about water levels.

The Main river is a bit high right now and it ends at the Rhein, and water levels there are usually similar. Though no flooding is predicted, the water levels for the Rhein are rising. Just for fun, you can also check out the live webcams for the Rhein. Here is one for Koblenz, though it only updates every 10 min. http://www.webcam-4insiders.com/de/Wetter-Koblenz%20am%20Rhein/1624-Koblenz%20am%20Rhein-Wetter.php One for Mainz: http://www.webcam-4insiders.com/de/Webcam-Mainz%20a%20Rhein/2887-Mainz%20a%20Rhein-Webcam.php One for Bonn:
