We are planning to visit Europe next spring, when our daughter is almost 2 years old. We may stay with family in Brussels for a few days and are considering going on a river cruise after that, so we can move around without having to move our luggage. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations?

You might check the river cruise line as to age minimums, The cabins on the river cruises are very small with everything built in. YOUR CHILD WOULD HAVE TO SLEEP WITH YOU!
Thanks to everyone for the great advice! I wrongly assumed it was more of a floating hotel: cruise at night, at port during the day for sightseeing (and accessible for naps). Thanks again for your help :)
