I am taking Rick Steve's trip starting Oct 2nd Spain and Morocco. I plan to fly from Seattle, London, Barcelona going over. The trip ends in Seville. Not any good return connections. Anyone from the Seattle area booked their flights for this trip and their connections. Curious. Thanks

Unfortunately, Sevilla doesn't have good connections to North America. If you can't find anything acceptable, consider taking the fast AVE train into Madrid, then flying home from there. Train journey takes about 2:45. Tickets, available up to 62 days in advance at www.renfe.es, can be had for about 32 Euro pp.

or, consider heading from Seville into Portugal. Bus to the border, pick up a rental car on the Portuguese side, tour around the Algarve, drop the car in Lisbon, then fly home from there.

I am taking this trip at the end of June. The two best plans I have come up with is (1) Norm's idea to take the train to Madrid or (2) Air Europa has a non-stop to Barcelona for $88. In looking at airfare, there doesn't seem to be much difference in flying RT to Barcelona or flying open jaw Seattle - Barcelona, Madrid - Seattle so I will probably take the train. Would love to do the Lisbon idea, but I am adding time at the beginning of the trip so will have to head home when it is done. Hope this helps.
