RER trains and rail pass

If I use the flexipass on the RER C line from Orly to Paris city at 8 pm, would that count as one day of a 5 day pass? I read thAt any train boarded after 7 pm was counted as the next day. thanks

I think you will be using up a day of travel. As far as I know, the rail trip has to end after 4am the next day to qualify.....I just got a pass....Read through the info for your pass.

Here is a quote from the Railpasses section on this site: "7 p.m. rule: A direct overnight train uses up only one flexipass travel day (not two) if you board after 7 p.m. and do not change trains before 4:00 a.m. In that case, you just write the arrival date on your flexipass." Unless you have a pass day that you don't need to save for a longer ride, don't waste a pass day on the RER C. And you couldn't simply transfer to the metro when you got into Paris. You would need to buy a separate ticket. The fare from the Pont de Rungis RER station to anywhere in central Paris is only €3.80 and includes transfers to the metro and/or other RER lines. The fare for the airport shuttle bus to Pont de Rungis is €2.50.

[INVALID]: I just checked eurail.com to see a list of extra benefits in France for passholders. Only the RER B from CDG as far as Gare du Nord is listed. The RER C isn't mentioned at all.
