RER or Roissy bus to Paris?

Hi,

I'll be traveling to Paris in late September. On my last visit I took the RER to Paris and then the Metro to my hotel. It seemed that the RER station was quite a hike from terminal 2 where we disembarked. I was wondering if the Roissy buss is a better alternative than the RER train. I've seen the Roissy bus kiosks in various locations in the CDG terminal.

Since one of the CDG RER stations is right below Terminal 2, I guess I don't know what you mean by "quite a hike."

If you take the Roissybus, you still have to get from Opera to your hotel, either by Metro, city bus, or taxi.

If you're packing light, it seems to me that the RER/Metro is your best choice. It will certainly be your cheapest. The current fare is €8.20.

If I remember correctly there are two RER stops at CDG I must have gotten of at the last stop instead of the first.
