RER/Metro Turnstiles with luggage

I will have one slightly larger than carry on size suitcase weighing less than 20 pounds. Can anyone give me some tips on the easiest way to get through the turnstiles at the RER/Metro stations. We will leave from RER CDG and arrive at Luxembourg.I'm not sure if we have to pass through turnstiles at CDG but I know we will at Luxembourg.
Thanks

Mary,

I suppose it depends on the size of your "slightly larger than carry on size suitcase"? I've never had any problems using the RER & Metro from the airport carrying a full size Backpack, Daypack and Camera kit, but at times it is a bit tight. When going through the Turnstiles I have to arrange the Daypack and Camera bag in a "linear" fashion rather than side-by-side.

As mentioned in a previous post, there may be a wheelchair lane, and hopefully there would be someone there to assist if necessary,

Happy travels!

Some (but not all, I think) have turnstile bypasses over to the side. My impression is that these are not always attended (at least the person who would open this thing is not lurking in the very area).

If I have two, I carry one, then put the other on the floor in front of me and give it a push with my foot.
