We are staying in Monterossa and will be renting a car to drive to Tuscany after our stay in Cinque Terra. What city do you recommend renting our car? I was thinking La Spezia. Thanks!

I think La Spezia. The car rental offices are a little distance from the train station but you could cab or walk. Pisa requires you to go to the airport. Lucca has the same issue as La Spezia - rental offices away from train station.

Thank you! Do you happen to know if it's best to drop of the car at the Florence airport or somewhere closer to the city. Hard to know where the rental offices are located.
