We have just returned from a vacation in France where we rented a motorhome. We rented our unit from France Motorhome Hire (francemotorhomehire.com). Their depot is located in Veron just south of Paris. Trains leave hourly from the Gare de Lyon in Paris to Sens (about a 1 hour trip), and the trip to their depot takes about 15 minutes from the Sens train station. You can make arrangements with them for a transfer from the station to their depot.
We were very impressed with every aspect of our motorhome experience. The owners are British which eliminated any stress with a language barrier. Our unit was brand new, but from what we saw at the depot all of their vehicles are nearly new, immaculate and well maintained. The cost of the rental incudes many items that are considered extras with other companies (linen, outside table and chairs) Their website and the printed information they supply includes every detail that we needed from where to buy groceries to where to camp. All of the staff where extremely helpful.
We wouldn't hesitate to hire from them again.
