We have a booked a car through AutoEurope, actual rental is
Europe car. We expect to arrive in Cahors France at 3:30 by train from Pairs. I have our pick up time as 5 pm, in case the train is late. I'm thinking of changing that to 4 so if we are on time we don't have to wait around. Does anyone know what Europe Car's policy is for how long they will hold a car?

I agree with contacting them directly. However, here are my thoughts:
- It's been my experience that the big restriction on pick-up times is when the office closes. E.g. we had to rush from the Florence train station last summer because our train was so late that the office was going to close on us if we didn't.
- That being said, most places hold cars until the end of the day, especially since you're not likely at a particularly busy location.
