Rental Car Insurance in Great Britain

We are going to rent a car for 13 days in Great Britain. Is there any advantage to taking out coverage via a trip insurance company over depending on our MasterCard coverage? I don't see an advantage. Thanks for your help.

Hi Kathy. I have rented many times in Europe and always use free insurance thru my credit card. Haven't ever had an accident, so can't report on that experience. If you search this site you will find many discussions and different opinions on the topic.
