Our car rental drop off in Avignon is at the airport. Then we will take the TGV train to Paris Gare Lyon. I understand there are two places to get the train but don't know which one we are supposed to take it from. It doesn't list it on the Rail Europe website. How far are the two places from each other. Any good ideas how to make the switch?

I would arrange to drop the car off at the train station.

According to the timetables at www.bahn.de, direct TGVs from Avignon Centre to Paris depart at 05:11, 07:55, 13:05, and 16:37. All other direct departures (there are many) are from Avignon TGV which is outside the city.
The RailEurope site does show the same station breakdown.

Why not just change your drop location to the Avignon TGV station? Then you don't have a transfer issue.
