We are going to be driving from Porto to the Douro and then to Lisbon. I am torn between renting the Volkswagen transporter or the seat Alhambra.. There will be 6 adults. Is there a big size difference in the actual car?

There will be more luggage room behind the third row of seats in the transporter (and almost none in the Alhambra).

Thank you, is the transporter very big? Will parking be an issue? I have in my head for some reason a giant car that will be difficult to get around with :)

Obviously it's larger - - it's more of a tradesman's van with a finer finish, but it's the only thing that will work. It'll move through traffic and you'll be able to park it - - fairly easily after a couple of tries. The Alhambra is more like a Sienna or Odyssey.
