My wife and I are traveling from: Zagreb to Ljubljana(Aug 24) Day trip to Lake Bled (Aug 25) Ljubljana to Rovinj (Aug 27) We see there is a train for Zagreb to Ljubljana, and sounds like there are various tour buses for a day trip to Lake Bled. We also see there is mention of 1 bus that goes to Rovinj on this site:
http://www.ap-ljubljana.si/eng/vozni_eng.php?uIfr=1 What I'd like to know is if it is quicker, less hassle and/or cheaper to just rent a car in Zagreb and drop it off in Rovinj (@ Pula). A search on Kayak.com for a says it is $255 for car rental with one-way dropoff for the time in question. Thanks for the advice?
