Does anyone know if Renfe offers service for ticketing and reservations in France or Germany. I believe there is an office in GB that offers the service, but we will be in Germany and France prior to visiting Spain. Any suggestions other than the Renfe site?

Renfe uses a VERY old and VERY different computer system from the modern res systems used in the rest of Europe.
It is difficult for RENFE agents to buy tickets in the rest of Europe, and difficult to DB or SNCF agents to buy tickets on the RENFE system. I've had an SNCF agent in Paris tell me it is nearly impossible for her to book tickets on RENFE's system, even those it is supposedly "do-able."

I have tried to register on the Renfe, but as yet have not been successful.
My problem is that we are going to Spain in October, but we will be in Europe in late August and September. The two reservations I am most concerned about are in very late October and early Nov (we will have passes and need the reservations). I thought I would try to book from Munich at the magic 62 day limit.
