I purchased 6 tickets on Renfe for travel in Spain. I have to cancel 2 of them. When I purchased the tickets online I was required to add the passenger names, so when I printed out the tickets there were no names on the individual tickets. Now when I go to the Renfe website to cancel, I can pull up the tickets but dont know what name is associated with the tickets. Any suggestions?
It does not matter which two tickets you cancel. There is never going to be a requirement to associate passenger, passport or i.d. card with a ticket when you travel.
Unlike airline travel there are no names attached to train tickets other than the original purchaser. No one is checking you against the "NO-FLY" list. Just cancel to tickets if that is permitted under the original purchase.
The others are correct. As long as you have a ticket for your seat, you are good to go.
Hopefully you didn't buy non-refundable advanced purchase tickets...
