If I want to buy tickets now for travel 6 months from now and I decide to renew my passport in the next fews monhts, can I change the passport number given at the time of booking? Would there be any problems? My passport expires three months after I'd complete me travel, but I probably will renew it earlier.

best check with the airlines or travel grp you use. you do not want prob re passport.

Depends on the airline, how hard it is to update...I have had some difficulty changing info with Iberia...

Thanks for the replies. I assumed it wouldn't be much different than if you lost your passport between booking and flying and had to get a new one.
