While we're reporting on our experiences with refunds, CD refunded my ticket from Prague to Vienna in early May in full (requested once I saw that the Czechs had closed the borders), although it took several days to get a response and several days after that for the money to actually appear in my account. But I suspect that the refund staff at all rail operators are snowed under with work at the moment.
We received a refund from Deutsch Bahn train in Germany and it was an unrefundable ticket . We however can not seem to get premium refunds from our travel insurances.
This year, I was planning to travel to attend a medical conference which was going to held in Rome. The flights and rooms were booked. Unfortunately, things changed very quickly, and based on the current circumstances, the management decided to cancel that conference. Now, I am hoping to get the refund amount.
