Here is another passport update on my experience.
December 20, 2023 I went to our post office and had new picture made and mailed off. I paid for expedite service and I just received it back today 2 weeks and one day.

I was 2 weeks as well, Kim. Whew, don’t you feel so relieved? Tank topped up for another 10 years!

Ours took only 3 1/2 weeks, and that was NOT expedited, and included Thanksgiving weekend. Perhaps the logjam has been cleared?
We sent our renewals regular service in June and received them in late September. That was about what they told us it would be but I was relieved we got them back at last.
Yup…. Glad it is back home with me. 10 more years of travel. It took a long time for hubs cuz it was during Covid. I did not want to take a chance. I have two trips close together in 2024 and 2025.
