If you have a passport then Real ID doesn't affect you.

I got my Real ID last year but a couple of my young adult children have not.

Just abandon it. How many millions of flights have taken place since 9/11? Do we really have a huge problem with fake IDs for airline flights? They’re not running a bar in a college town.

ANd the truth... you can fly domestically without ANY idea (been t here done that, don't recommend it LOL!)
