RailEurope web tickets

I am planning on traveling from Venice to Jubljana, Slovenia and see numerous train schedules on their web sight for a decent departure time. When I go to book, the only availability comes up 9:40pm arriving 1:40am. My question is, although their web sight says no availability are there still tickets available on the trains they say are sold out? Do they have tickets for walk ups in the station?

In this case what Rail Europe means by "no availability" is that they don't sell tickets for the daytime routes, not that they are sold out. Also what the RE site doesn't make clear is that the first leg on those routes is a bus from Venice to Villach which is operated by Austrian Rail. Never rely on Rail Europe for timetables. For complete timetables use the German Rail site. You can book the entire journey by phoning the Austrian Rail call center. Dial 011 (US international access code) + 43 (country code for Austria) + 5-1717.

Somewhere it needs to be posted in very large letters that Rail Europe is a travel agency, a reseller of tickets, and NOT a rail company. They list only the routes that they sell tickets for, rarely if ever offer discounts, and with their additional fees tickets are more expensive. With few exceptions, trains in Europe never sell out.
