Unfortunately the best price for the EuroStar was weeks ago. The Eurostar has adapted our airline pricing patterns. The closer you are to travel the more expensive. If in Paris, check with a local travel agents. You may be able to get a package for that route.

Erich, rather than your plan of train/ferry/train, have you checked into the Eurolines bus fares and schedules, from Paris to London direct.

Erich Your best bet will be to see if there are any deals floating around the French trains. As noted, way too late to get anything off the Internet, IMO. If you are in France now, it doesn't have to be Paris, you need to visit (ASAP) an SNCF Boutique. They are all over France and may have something up their sleeves. You will need SNCF to get to Calais, they can also help you with anything they may have with Eurostar. I have heard here that P&O are the only ferry Calais to Dover which takes foot passengers, you will need to get hold of them. Then you will need one of the train companies in England - Southeastern to get from Dover Priory to one of the London stations. High Speed from Dover takes you to St Pancras International, normal trains go to one of the stations south of the River, usually Charing Cross, I believe. You will also need to consider how you will get from the respective Calais station to the port, and from the dock to Dover Priory station - neither is a short walk.

We used Eurolines bus from London (Victoria station) to Paris. The only way we could communicate with them was by phone - using the phone number on their English website---
The trip was about 6 hours with two rest stops.

sil How was your Eurolines trip? How were the rest areas? Comfortable coach? Did you enjoy the ferry crossing? Did you see the White Cliffs? We tell folk here about the Eurolines but we don't get many reports back as to how it is....
