I am confused as to whether it is best to pre purchase rail passes in Eastern Europe, and what is the best way to travel from Prague to Zurich.
The best way to get to Zurich from Prague would be night train because it is direct, no change of trains involved. I would recommend to buy ticket ahead for night train. For day train it won't be necessary.
