Anyone else have ideas on this - how much, if their is a train, how long? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou!!!

We have done that as far as Florence. garmisch-Partenkirchen to Florence is a trip of 7.5 hours. You will change trains at Innsbruck and Bologna or possibly Verona. Some people suggest taking the bus from Florence to Siena, but since you are already at the train station that might be simpler. That trip is an hour and a half.

Thanks for your quick response! It is looking like this will be the route via train! I am sure it is a very scenic journey though! I wondered if there were any Fast Trains?
