Does Rick Steves allow you to purchase your rail pass at the store in Edmonds? Can it be shipped faster than 5 days if you pay for shipping? Is is possible to buy the global rail pass in Europe?

Contact RS directly, not on the helpline. Global rail passes are only purchasable outside of Europe.

As for purchasing the pass at the store in Edmonds, or having it shipped faster than 5 days, call the store in Edmonds. I think you can purchase a pass in the store in Edmonds. It is not far from Kirkland. Yes, it is possible to buy Global Eurail passes at certain stations in Europe, but they will cost more (see http://www.eurail.com/help/ordering-pass/can-i-buy-eurail-europe).
