Anyone have any comments on using the RailEurope website to boo train travel?

it's typically way overpriced and much more expensive than waiting til you are in Europe and/or buying it directly from the rail sites in the relevant countries beforehand. It's an unnecessary middleman, in my opinion.

For point to point tickets Rail Europe is a rip off, they overcharge and only display trains they sell tickets to. You're better off booking directly from the train company's own website. Like DB, Eurostar, Thalys, or TGV etc.
