Has anyone ever used the STA travel website? I know that Rick Steves recommends this site for students. I went onto it to get my student ID card and just checked out flights. My question is....is this website for real and legit? I am looking at flights to paris one-way for $1022 for two people and the same flight with any other website goes to $2000 or more.....are these tickets okay to use? I'm just asking because I would be saving so much money by getting tickets through this site vs any other airline places. Thanks for the help

If you qualify they are legit. Lots of posters on here, like me, have been out of school way too long to use them, but I know friends of mine have kids who used them without any issue.

They are definitely legit. They've been around at least 25 years.

Thanks for the help everyone...I just wanted to make sure before I bought my plane tickets and trip insurance from them.
