Question on EURail France Italy Pass (trip from CDG to Paris)

Hi I have a EURail France Italy Pass and I believe the transportation from CDG airport ro Paris du Nord (one way) is covered by this pass and I need to show the pass to get the ticket. - However, should the pass be validated to get the tickets? - Also, will a travel day (of pass) be used? I am thinking not. Regards

Sam, if the trip to Gare du Nord is the only train travel you will be doing that day, I suggest that you don't use your pass. First, I'm not sure that the RER train will accept the pass. Second, the fare from CDG to Gare du Nord should be under 10Euro. Why would you burn up a day on your pass for 10Euro if you won't be on another train that day. If you have other train rides that same day, you can still travel on the pass using the same day. Again, I'm not sure the pass is good on the RER. Others can comment.

Unless things have changed recently a travel day WOULD BE used and that is rarely a good use of a rail pass! You can buy a ticket at the airport.
