Question about airfare.com

When you go to airfare.com website & click on multi destinations & put this info in along with the dates does the website understand what you're trying to do? I know this may sound like a dumb question but I'm a little confused. If you go on an airline website to do this the process is easier IMO but when I tried this on airfare.com it asks if it's one way or return. Am I just not understanding the process? Thanks for any helpful responses.

Hi Stephanie,

Are you wanting to fly open jaws i.e. into one city and out of another? If so choose the multiple destination option and type in the original departure airport and destination airport and the date of travel i.e JFK to Barcelona on Sept. 24, 2009 and then in the spaces below that type in the final departure city and final destination city and date i.e. Madrid to JFK on October 1, 2009. I didn't see anywhere in that process that asked if it was round trip. Hope this helps you.

Thanks Mary, I'm not thinking straight. It was Kayak.com not Airfare.com & yes I'm flying open jaw.

Stephanie...on Kayak.com, click on the "multi-city" button. A new window will open, where you can use the first two lines to input your open-jaws destinations.
