Read year old post that pass can be purchased from German Rail Pass Aid office when you arrive in Germany. Is this still valid, and does that include flexi & twin? Unable to find that information on DB site.
I don't kniw the answer, but you might want to list the trips you plan to take--and the timing of your trip--so our German rail experts can weigh in on whether a rail pass is likely to make financial sense for you.
I also can't answer that question -but I can raise an even bigger one! Do GRP Aid Offices exist any more? The flyer gives a link about them www.bahn.com/grp-aidoffices but when you try it you get diverted to the basic pass info page which doesn't mention them. Links previously given in "other forums" are likewise dead.
German Flex and Consecutive rail pass may be purchased at DB Sales Offices single or twin. One is located at Frankfurt airport. Search DB sales office on Bahn site and rules will come up! We did this two years ago and all went well!
Hi,
When you get to Munich or Frankfurt Hbf, as you indicate above, you can ask about that at the EurAide office at the Reisezentrum. They deal with all sorts of Pass questions in English. Not just North Americans use some sort of Pass. The materials are also written in Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese.
