Is there a bus and train program/pass for travel within Italy? including Sicily and Puglia?

I am planning for a Nov 2024 trip to southern Italy and plan now so that the train and bus schedule is reflective of when I will be traveling. Did you have a specific question.

Hi Zeke, I’m planning to be in those areas soon. I will just be buying tickets on Trenitalia.com or the app for Puglia. I will be taking a bus from Bari over to Alberobello; otherwise, trains to see several of the cities over a 2-week period in Puglia. I’ve never purchased a train pass for any trips in Italy.
For Sicily, I will just be in Palermo and may take the train over to Cefalu. Again, just a single ticket.
To determine which bus company, I use Rome2rio.com for the destination. The transportation choices will show you which bus option is available, when needed.
