Is there a direct train, bus, or other public transportation from Malpensa airport (milan) to Como with out going through Milan? Thanks

Frank, Just to confirm, you're travelling to the town of Como rather than one of the other locations along the lake? If so, which area of the town are you staying in (there are several rail stations in Como)? As Lee mentioned, your best option for that route would be the Malpensa Express which is operated by Le Nord Railways. Cheers!

There is a private rail line ( Malpensa Express) from the airport to downtown (harbor) Como with a change in Saronno.
