My friends will be in Madrid in a few weeks and we're planning to take several day trips out of the city - Segovia, El Escorial, Toledo and Aranjuez. We'd like to try to see Toledo and Aranjuez in the same day. Take the train from Madrid to Toledo, bus from Toledo to Aranjuez and then the train back to Madrid, but I suspect that this isn't feasible based on the bus times (if I'm reading the schedule correctly, 9 am and 4:15 pm). Has anyone done this or can tell me if it's possible to travel on public transportation between the two cities at other times during the day? thanks
