we want to buy a 7 day transportation pass for Budapest, I understand they are available at the post office in the airport. Two questions: How to a get to the airport post office from the arrival gates? (we will be flying United Air from Frankfort) Are there any other location were 7 day passes can be purchased? Once you are in Budapest. Thanks for the help

Well I've never been to the Post Office, but this map shows it to be in the T2 Mezzanine, bottom right hand corner...

Jim's covered the airport, so I'll just add that you should also be able to buy the 7-day pass at any Metro station.

I have diagrams of the airport and they don't show the location of the post office. I suppose there is still one (the whole place was recently renovated and expanded). As the others point out you can buy the 7 Day Travel Card at any metro station with an open ticket counter. Unless you are planning on using the public transit system to get into town you shouldn't have any problems. The Airport and the Metro Company (BKV) use to great websites but for some reason both have "updated" their sites and they aren't nearly helpful as they once were. Sorry not more help.
