I am joining a group tour at the Tiara Château Hotel Mont Royal Chantilly, Route de Plailly, 60520 La Chapelle en Serval. I contacted a shuttle service advertised on the CDG webpage regarding transport from the airport to hotel. They quoted a price of 130 Euros (one way), which seems quite excessive for what the hotel describes as a fifteen minute ride from CDG. Are there less expensive options?

Could you not just take a regular taxi to the hotel from CDG , otherwise I do know a private taxi service, I have used it myself, my relatives live in Lamorlaye which is basically a tiny village about 5 minutes from Chantilly, and we used it to return to the airport, it cost us 50 euros. It is owned and driven by a very nice lady, its an immaculate mini van, supplied with cool water bottles and a basket of hard candies , it was like the nicest 25 minute drive ever.. lol The lady spoke only a little english but she was so smiley and nice we had a lovely ride regardless. I will look for her card ( which we asked for as we would use her again in a heartbeat). I had it on my bullention board and now can't find it, but I will pm you if I find it ok?
